 I first picked John by chance just because I liked the ease of use of his web site.
What a lucky grab! I am from Wisconsin and was very “green” as to buying a home long distance. John was “extremely” helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. John’s knowledge and connections are unbeatable. His patience was unbelievable as we looked at over 30 homes in 110 plus degree heat.  John Bemis knows real estate and he knows people. I contacted John and expressed my desire to relocate to Lake Havasu City. I gave him my requirements for a new home and said that I also would look for the "perfect property". We did the e-mail thing and we had both found the same property that eventually would be our home. My girlfriend and I made an appointment to meet with John and start the search. He met us at our motel on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. We had selected 4 properties to examine. We checked out all four and two additional that John had selected. By 1 p.m. we had selected our new home and signed the papers. John stayed on top of this transaction and made all the arangements with the other realtor. He followed through with the inspection and all of the small details and NEVER left us out of the loop.  When we decided to relocate to Lake Havasu our first thoughts were of how difficult it would probably be. We had lived in our current home for over thirty years and had no idea how to get started.

 Having owned a vacation home on the Parker Strip for the past 6 years, I have had ample opportunity to familiarize myself with the Lake Havasu City real estate market. I tried several other agents but each one seemed more interested in a quick sale than trying to work with me to satisfy my needs. Then, during an Internet search of Lake Havasu residential properties, I ran across an ad for John Bemis. I immediately called him and liked what he had to say. I made an appointment to meet with John on that first call.
During our initial meeting, John and I discussed the type of property I was looking for, my price range and my location preferences.  I closed escrow on a property located in the Windsor Beach condominiums complex. John Bemis, from your office, assisted me in the process of completing the deal.  We had to sell a rental we had inherited. We had not seen the house for a long time, and some of us had never seen the house. John was practical and reasonable as he helped us to remove the few, but serious, negatives and sell the house quickly in a tough market with many foreclosures for sale. The strategic repairs and improvements were not expensive, but they were important. John also went the extra mile to find the right new lender to keep the deal alive when the buyer had some problems with financing in the tightened mortgage environment. John's practical good sense, his contacts, and his experience benefited us in this transaction.
